Let's be clear up front, because your timeline won't be: Rockstar has not announced a date for GTA 6 Trailer 3. Every specific day you've seen shared as fact is rumour, pattern-reading or wishful thinking. Treat it that way.
The mood is understandable. Pre-orders went live, the November 19 release date is holding, and the community had half-convinced itself a third trailer would ride along with the pre-order launch in June. It didn't. Since then the guessing has only got louder.
What the theories actually rest on
Writing for Forbes on July 20, Brian Mazique laid out the state of play: no date, lots of cadence-based prediction, and a fanbase reading tea leaves. The most repeated theory held that Rockstar was deliberately waiting out a crowded summer, including the World Cup final on July 19, rather than drop a trailer into a month of saturated sports coverage. Plausible. Also completely unconfirmed.
Then there's the older stuff. Back in May, a GTAForums post claimed the trailer would feature the Rolling Stones' "Heartbreaker", supposedly from someone with music-industry ties. It's a fun detail. It's also an anonymous forum post, which is to say it's worth exactly nothing until Rockstar presses play.
The sane position
A third trailer is coming at some point; that much is a safe bet given how Rockstar drip-feeds a launch. When, though, is genuinely unknown, and anyone telling you otherwise is guessing with confidence. Late July, early August, September; take your pick, because that's all any of it is. We'll tell you when there's an actual date. There isn't one yet.
