Tokyo Game Show is back from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe, and the publisher lineups are starting to drop. Square Enix put theirs out on September 4, and it's a big one.

Eleven titles, led by Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, the one that got its April 8, 2027 date at last week's State of Play. It's joined by Kingdom Hearts 4, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, Dragon Quest XI S on Switch 2, and Final Fantasy 14's Evercold. There'll be playable demos of FF7 Revelation and DQ VII Reimagined on the show floor.

A bigger show this year

TGS has stretched to five days for 2026, adding a third public day across September 19 to 21 after the business-and-press days on the 17th and 18th. Capcom is getting in ahead of the floor with a Capcom Spotlight stream on September 16, and Koei Tecmo has already confirmed Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember among a stack of others.

It's shaping up to be a properly loaded show. We'll dig into the actual announcements as they land rather than the pre-show wishlists.
