First, the caveat, because your feed won't give you one: the detailed GTA 6 map going viral is not from Rockstar. It's a fan reconstruction, and while it's genuinely clever, it's stitched together from scraps rather than handed down from on high. Treat the specifics as informed guesswork.
The map lives in the GTA Mapping community, where people have pieced together a picture of Leonida and Vice City from three sources: the two official trailers, official screenshots (including ones pulled from the pre-order pages), and the notorious 2022 Rockstar breach that leaked more than 90 videos and images later confirmed genuine. One contributor, Yanis, pushed out a thirteenth revision of the map in late June, and the community read is that this will be the biggest open world Rockstar has ever built.
What's actually solid
The confirmed part is thinner: Vice City, a stand-in for Miami, is the main hub in a modern-day setting, with neighbourhoods like Ocean Beach, Little Haiti and Little Havana. Beyond that, the borders, the scale, the exact layout, it's extrapolation. Smart extrapolation, but extrapolation.
So enjoy the map as a fan project, which is what it is, and don't quote its dimensions as fact. The real thing will land when Rockstar decides, and it'll almost certainly be huge. It just won't be huge because a Discord said so.
