We flagged this one when it was announced; now it's here. Jurassic World Evolution 3's Prehistoric East pack went live today, September 29, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, at £11.99 / $14.99 / €14.99.

What the paid pack adds

The theme is prehistoric Asia, and it brings five species: Nanshiungosaurus and Gobisaurus on the herbivore side, Yangchuanosaurus and the feathered Sinosauropteryx as carnivores, and Tarbosaurus as the big draw predator. On top of the animals you get animated holographic statues and a set of East Asian-styled decorative building pieces, so it's as much a park-theming pack as a species drop.

The free bit for everyone

You don't have to pay to get something out of today. The free Update 1.5 lands alongside the pack for all players, so even if the Asia theme isn't your thing, there's a reason to boot the game up. Frontier hasn't made the full 1.5 notes loud, so check in-game once you've patched.

Fifteen quid for five dinosaurs and some scenery is about the going rate for these packs. Worth it if you're still actively building parks; easy to skip if you drifted off after launch.
