Straight up: Blizzard has announced nothing here. What we've got is a datamine, some references buried in the files of a World of Warcraft Classic patch, and a codename. Treat the rest as reading tea leaves, because that's what it is.
The find surfaced from files tied to WoW Classic Patch 1.60 and points to a project internally called Camelot, apparently with multiple editions attached, the sort of standard, deluxe, collector's split you see on a real product listing. Vice reported it after the datamine originally showed up around June 16 and slipped past most people at the time.
How much to read into it
Datamined files are real, which puts this a notch above a random forum whisper. But a codename in a patch is a long way from a game. Camelot could be a full new title, an expansion, a working name that never ships, or an asset that got left in by accident. Studios park references like this in their files all the time, and plenty die quietly. "Multiple editions" is the spiciest detail, since that usually implies something commercial rather than internal, but even that isn't proof of anything.
So: interesting, genuinely worth logging, and nowhere near confirmed. If Blizzard's building a new thing off the Classic goodwill, this is the first thread. If it's nothing, you'll never hear the name again. Don't preorder a rumour.
