The Snoop Dogg Elusive Target, The Herbalist, goes live in Hitman: World of Assassination on August 27, and like every Elusive Target it plays by harsher rules than the campaign. No save-scumming, and no clean retry once you're dead. If you've only ever played story missions, here's how to not throw it away in the first five minutes.
Do a recon lap first
You can enter the mission, walk the map, and leave without firing a shot, and the target won't vanish as long as you don't die. Use that. Find where Cane goes, spot the disguises you'll want, and note your exits before you commit to anything. A slow first lap beats a fast failure.
Don't rush the kill
Elusive Targets aren't marked on your map, and Instinct won't highlight them. You ID them by watching and listening. Get a positive ID before you act, because dropping the wrong lookalike is how good runs die. Wait for Cane to wander somewhere quiet rather than forcing it in a crowd.
Line up the exit before you strike
Have a disguise and a nearby way out sorted before the body hits the floor. The messy part of any Elusive Target isn't the kill, it's the walk out while everyone's hunting for you. An accident, a drowning, or a quiet fibre-wire in an empty room leaves far less heat than a gunshot in a busy hall.
If it goes wrong, stay calm
A blown disguise isn't the end; a death is. If you're spotted, break line of sight, ditch the compromised disguise, and let the heat cool instead of shooting your way out. The target sticks around. You're the one on a clock, and it only stops if you die or the window shuts on September 26.
