IO Interactive is putting Snoop Dogg in Hitman: World of Assassination as its next Elusive Target, and it's free for everyone. The mission is called The Herbalist, and it's live from August 27 through September 26. You even get it in the free demo, so you don't need to own the game to have a crack at it.
There's a small twist to the setup. Snoop plays a character tied to the target rather than the mark himself. 47's actual job is Dr. Cyrus Cane, an eccentric entrepreneur whose new cookie brand, Morsizzles, is about to make a fortune, right up until you notice the deaths during product testing it's built on. The contract is the usual: remove Cane, and make the product disappear with him.
Snoop's son, Cordell Broadus, lends his likeness and voice too, which IO is billing as a first for a father-son pairing in a game. There's a themed Herbalist DLC pack landing alongside it on the 27th if you want the cosmetics.
Don't sit on it
Standard Elusive Target rules apply, which means one shot. Once the window closes on September 26 it's gone, and if you die or blow it mid-mission you don't get a clean retry. Good excuse to reinstall.
