Forza Horizon 6 got its Series 5 content update on September 7, and it's the usual seasonal rhythm: a new mode to chase, a handful of cars to earn, and a batch of fixes for the stuff that was annoying people.
What's new
The headline is Drift Attack, a mode built for players who'd rather slide a corner than clip its apex. On top of that there are 10 Festival Playlist reward cars to grind out over the series, four Car Pass vehicles, and a new British Automotive series to work through. The standout freebie is a 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition, which is a properly nice thing to hand out for playing.
The fixes
Playground also cleaned up a few rough edges: the Chapter 6 leaderboard for Drift Club Japan got sorted, the detection radius on the Lady Aiko Mural Photo Challenge was widened so it stops fighting you, and lap counts on some events were tuned around car class and event length.
None of this reinvents the game, and it doesn't need to. Series updates are the steady drip that keeps an open-world racer worth reopening, and a drift mode plus a free Jag is a fair reason to load back in this month.
